Upcoming Changes to Medicare

New Preventive Benefits in 2005

Under the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003, certain Medicare beneficiaries will have access to new preventive benefits, including a "Welcome to Medicare Physical," diabetes screening tests, and cardiovascular screening tests, beginning January 1, 2005.
