 Consultative Services

Since 2000, HAP has been partnering with SHIPs to enhance their capacity to educate, counsel, and assist Medicare beneficiaries and caregivers. Through HAP's experiences within the SHIP network, we identify the needs of SHIPs as they fit into four major categories: community education and partnership, program administration, program development, and program performance. HAP experiences in the field help shape the support we offer, while making this support available to the widest possible SHIP audience.

From our experiences we have learned that SHIP needs vary greatly across regions, states, and even counties. Consultative services are one way to address the unique challenges and opportunities of each SHIP.
