SHIPTools Makes Online Training Easy!

HAP has recently improved online training in SHIPTools, our web-based management system designed for SHIPs by SHIPs. The improvements are based on over four years of experience working with SHIP staff and volunteers to implement online training programs that meet SHIP needs.

The new SHIPTools features are designed to help SHIPs better integrate online training into their existing training programs as well as adapt online training to the new and innovative ways SHIPs are using volunteers. Now, SHIP staff and coordinators can use SHIPTools to:

Target online training to SHIP volunteers and staff located at specific organizations or within certain regions of a state.
Create role-based, online reviews that are accessible only to those with specific SHIP volunteer or staff roles.
Choose how long online reviews should be available for SHIP volunteers and staff.
Combine in-person and online training methods, by linking attendance at in-person training to the completion of follow-up online reviews.
