The Health Assistance Partnership is pleased to offer its Collaborative State Projects (CSPs) for 2009/10. The CSPs offer SHIPs the opportunity to increase their capacity to serve Medicare beneficiaries by providing customized assistance in specific programmatic areas.
For the 2009 SHIP Grant Year, HAP is seeking three states to work collaboratively on volunteer recruitment and management. The projects are designed to help SHIPs develop and implement a sustainable volunteer program that allows them to educate, counsel, and assist more Medicare beneficiaries, while also taking into account the changing preferences of today’s volunteers and the complexity of the Medicare program.
If your program is interested in partnering with HAP for 2009/10, we invite your state SHIP Director to complete our online application by Friday, March 6, 2009. For more information, please refer to the CSP Resource Center.
