Medicaid & Low-Income Benefits:
Dual eligibles

For beneficiaries who qualify, state Medicaid programs will cover all or part of the costs not covered by Medicare. Beneficiaries with Medicare and Medicaid are often referred to as dual eligibles. HAP's dual-eligible section seeks to clarify the relationship between Medicare and Medicaid and provide tools to help translate these complex implications to beneficiaries.
