Medicare Statute on Ambulance Services

SEC. 1861 [42 U.S.C. 1395x]

For purposes of this title-

     (s) The term “medical and other health services” means any of the following items or services:

            (7) ambulance service where the use of other methods of transportation is contraindicated by the individual's condition, but only to the extent provided in regulations
