Streamline Volunteer Management
SHIPTools provides the ability to communicate with, organize, and track team members across the SHIP program.
- Volunteers can update their contact information, and it is automatically updated in the SHIP program's database.
- The SHIP program can send emails and create mailing labels for team members according to their organization or AAA region, for example, or to everyone in the database.
- The SHIP program can post resources and news items, providing one place for team members to go to get the most up-to-date information.
| |
- The SHIP program can create groups of team members, such as by AAA or training territory, and can view team members' contributions by type of group.
- The SHIP program can restrict access to information based on a team member's role in the SHIP program as defined by state program administrators.
- The SHIP program can record a team member's preferences for volunteering such as hours available, languages spoken, or ability to do home visits.
| |
- The SHIP program can review Client Contact Forms and outreach activities entered by team members and 'approve' them prior to their submission to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
- The SHIP program can examine a team member's participation across all aspects of the SHIP program such as by the number of clients counseled, presentations conducted, trainings attended, and/or online reviews completed. The program can also create comprehensive certifications based on standards they determine.
- The SHIP program can calculate a team member's participation to satisfy National Performance Reporting while also conducting local and state-based quality improvement initiatives of their own design.
